2014 - the year of Festivals

2014 is already gearing up to be a very busy and  exciting year for Hitchin Stitchin' members. Work is almost complete on two major group projects.

Festivalwools 

First, we are all set for this year's 40th Anniversary of Living Crafts at Hatfield House  in May. This year's group display will focus on 21st century knitting, with emphasis on the role that the Internet plays in learning new skills, finding pattern and new yarns and joining in with many on-line knitting communities.

Second, preparations for  Festiwool on November 2nd are well under way and looking good.
