of the knitting group's recent away weekend.
Seal just a few yards out from the beach |
Two seals visited the windswept beach at Sea Palling when Sue and I went for a walk on Saturday morning. I waded into the sea to get a closer shot, forgetting that my jeans, like my waterproof overtrousers, were outside my wellies.
Other members of the group weren't so lucky on their trip to the neighbouring beach. There was no access to the beach and no sign of the promised seals.
A Saxon tower on the medieval parish church of Beeston St Lawrence. Sue and I stopped to take photos and discovered that it was open.
A spot of shopping at Wroxham Barns.
There were |
Lots of silliness during the 'tour' of the suite with the super, super, super King-sized bed,
More fine wine and fine food.

We enjoyed it so much that we have provisionally booked for a similar time and date next year when there will be additional accomodation in a nearby cottage.
