the exhibition at Ally Pally, (which accounted for many missing members) there was a good turnout this morning at Hitchin Stitchin'.
New members, Melissa and Nikki, joined us and, while Melissa completed more of her colourful self-striping scarf, Nikki browsed my Fleece and Fibre Sourcebook. Other members were interested in the book, several people are adding it to their Wish List (some have already done so).
Angela gave the group feedback of her three days knitting in Sussex with Alison Ellen. It sounded a very interesting weekend workshop of hand knitting techniques in the beautiful setting st West Dean College.
Angela brought a copy of Alison Ellen's book, Hand Knitting to show some of the techniques covered on the weekend.
